Krypton – Xenon Purification

Krypton and Xenon are very rare gases with a concentration in air of <1 ppmv. Small amounts of these rare gases can be collected from larger air separation plants during the cryogenic distillation of air. Krypton and Xenon are used in the lighting and electronics industry that introduces contaminants. Chemical Design, Inc. has removed methane from a Krypton – Xenon stream.
